About me …
I’m a qualified teacher of yoga and the Alexander Technique (AT) both of which I’ve been practising for more than 20 years. I believe that health and happiness are closely linked to mindfulness, and activities which bring the mind and body together, like yoga and AT amongst others, bring a deep and healing awareness to ourselves and the world around us.
I moved to SW France in 2001 with my family in search of a simpler and more sustainable life closer to nature. I fell in love with this beautiful corner of the Aveyron because of its ancient oak & chestnut forests and wild river valleys.
Yoga is not only what we do on the mat but a philosophy of life which permeates all daily activities. The foundation principle of “ahimsa” which is sanskrit for non-violence, means being kind and compassionate, first of all towards ourselves and then to others and the wider world. I feel blessed to be able to share my journey with anyone who wishes to tread a similar path.
